The Chicago Bears announced a new multi-year partnership with Levy to transform the food and beverage experience at Soldier Field. The 10-year deal matches the years remaining on the Bears’ lease, which expires after the 2033 season.
Levy Locks Down Chicago
With this deal, Levy now operates every major Chicago stadium. The company already provides food and beverage services at Wrigley Field, United Center, and Guaranteed Rate Field. Nationwide, Levy serves 112 professional sports teams.
“Chicago is where Levy was born, and it’s the city we still call home after all these years,” said Levy CEO Andy Lansing.
Contract Details
The business model includes two options: a hybrid agreement with Levy receiving a management fee tied to 1.5% of total sales plus 5% of net profits, or a commission deal structure with percentages of sales varying by revenue. Levy is making a $12 million capital investment to purchase a new point-of-sale system and renovate concession stands and premium dining destinations.
Enhanced Fan Experience
The team added 50% more points of sale in the 400 level. New self-checkout lanes use AI-driven cameras to identify products without scanning. Every concession stand and portable has been updated with new experiences for fans.
Job Opportunities
The transition from Aramark to Levy created new positions across the stadium. Workers interested in Soldier Field hospitality roles should look for opportunities under Levy’s expanded operation.
