StadiumGigs Blog

The StadiumGigs blog tracks the moving parts of U.S. stadium hospitality from the perspective of the workforce. When a major venue swaps its concessionaire, when a stadium adopts a new workforce-management platform, when a marquee account changes hands — the consequences usually reach the people working event days first.

We focus on the stories that actually change something for stadium employees and the operators who employ them:

  • Operator transitions. A new hospitality partner at a major venue can mean retained staff, renegotiated wages, new uniforms, new POS systems, and a new training program. We cover what changed and what stayed the same.
  • Technology that touches event-day work. Workforce-management platforms, mobile-ordering rollouts, and credentialing systems all change the day-to-day reality of working a stadium event. We explain what’s new and why it matters at the role level.
  • Contract awards and renewals. Multi-year hospitality contracts determine who hires at a venue for years to come. When one is signed, we cover the implications for the local job market.
  • Industry context. When the largest hospitality operators in the country — Aramark, Levy, Legends, Oak View Group, Sodexo Live, Bon Appetit — make moves that affect multiple venues, we connect the dots.

Each post links back to the relevant stadium, city, and hospitality company pages on the site, so you can follow a story from a headline through to the operator’s careers page if you want to apply for work.

If you’d like to suggest a story, send a correction, or share a tip from inside a venue, please get in touch. We treat sources confidentially by default.
