Buccaneers Extend Legends Concessions Deal at Raymond James Stadium

April 04, 2025

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have extended their concessions agreement with Legends at Raymond James Stadium through March 31, 2028. The Tampa Sports Authority approved the three-year extension at its April 1 board meeting.

Continuity at Raymond James

Legends has been the Buccaneers’ exclusive hospitality rights partner since March 1, 2019, managing general concessions, club dining, suites, and special-event catering. The extension keeps that structure in place while the franchise and the Authority weigh longer-term stadium renovations and lease decisions.

The Buccaneers’ lease with the Tampa Sports Authority expires January 31, 2028, which helps explain the relatively short renewal window. Both sides have discussed significant upgrades to the aging venue as that deadline approaches.

Non-NFL Events Matter

Beyond Buccaneers gamedays, Legends also serves concerts, University of South Florida football (until USF’s on-campus stadium opens), and other Authority events at Raymond James. Public terms for non-NFL events include rent based on a share of concessions and catering gross receipts paid to the Authority.

Legends also operates food and beverage at George Steinbrenner Field across the street, keeping the company’s Tampa hospitality footprint concentrated around the stadium district.

What This Means for Workers

For seasonal and part-time hospitality staff, an extension usually means continuity: existing stand leads, suite attendants, culinary roles, and club staff can expect the same employer brand through at least early 2028. Applicants looking for Buccaneers-market stadium jobs should continue applying through Legends for Raymond James Stadium roles.

Looking Ahead

If the Buccaneers and Authority move forward on a major renovation or lease extension, hospitality staffing demand is likely to rise around construction-era events and any upgraded club or suite inventory. Until then, Legends remains the operator of record for Tampa’s NFL venue.
