Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how StadiumGigs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit stadiumgigs.com (the “Site”). We have written this in plain English wherever possible. If anything is unclear, please contact us.

Who we are

StadiumGigs is an independent editorial site that publishes guides, news, and role profiles about working at major stadiums and arenas in the United States. The Site is operated from the United States by an independent publisher. You can reach us at the address listed on our Contact page.

What information we collect

We have deliberately kept data collection to a minimum.

Information you give us directly

  • Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through our newsletter provider, Beehiiv. We use that email address only to send you the newsletter and related announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
  • Contact requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message. We use it only to respond to you.

Information collected automatically

  • Privacy-friendly analytics (Fathom). We use Fathom Analytics to understand which pages are popular. Fathom is a cookie-free, GDPR-, CCPA-, and PECR-compliant analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, does not build profiles of visitors, and does not share data with third parties. Anonymized data is processed in aggregate (page views, referrer, device type, country).
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) automatically receives standard request information such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL. This is retained briefly for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
  • Personalize the ads you see, where you have consented to such use.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this Site and other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland: Before serving personalized ads we ask for your consent through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (Google Funding Choices). You can change your choices at any time by reopening the consent banner from the link in the footer or by clearing your browser data.

For visitors in California and other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws: You can use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” / opt-out controls presented by our consent management platform. You may also exercise your rights by contacting us directly.

A full list of Google’s advertising partners and the cookies they use is available at Google’s Privacy & Terms site.

Job listing structured data

Some pages on the Site describe stadium roles using JobPosting structured data. These pages are editorial role guides and informational content. We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to read them.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • Send the newsletter to people who have subscribed.
  • Respond to messages you send us.
  • Display and measure advertising (Google AdSense).
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or security problems.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. Cookies and similar technologies may be set by:

  • Google AdSense and its advertising partners, as described above.
  • Beehiiv, only if you interact with the newsletter sign-up form.

Fathom Analytics does not use cookies.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some third-party services, but the rest of the Site will continue to work.

Third-party services we use

  • GitHub Pages — static site hosting.
  • Fathom Analytics — cookie-free, privacy-friendly visitor analytics.
  • Google AdSense — display advertising.
  • Beehiiv — newsletter delivery and sign-up form.
  • OpenStreetMap — map tiles served on stadium pages.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for advertising personalization at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and within any legal deadline that applies.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
