Acrisure Stadium is an open-air NFL venue on Pittsburgh’s North Shore and home to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The stadium also hosts University of Pittsburgh football and major concerts along the Allegheny River.
Overview
Acrisure Stadium opened in 2001 as Heinz Field, replacing Three Rivers Stadium. Acrisure acquired naming rights in 2022. Located at 100 Art Rooney Avenue next to PNC Park, the stadium anchors Pittsburgh’s North Shore sports and entertainment district across the river from downtown. Designed by HOK Sport (now Populous), it is known for its dual-tenant NFL and college football schedule and its views of the Pittsburgh skyline.
