Lambeau Field is a historic open-air NFL venue in Green Bay, Wisconsin and home to the Green Bay Packers. The stadium hosts NFL games and is the longest continuously occupied stadium in the league.
Overview
Lambeau Field opened in 1957 as City Stadium and was renamed in 1965 for Packers founder and coach Curly Lambeau. Located at 1265 Lombardi Avenue, the stadium has been expanded repeatedly while keeping its bowl identity, most notably with the Lambeau Field Atrium and Titletown District development. Owned by the City of Green Bay and operated with the Packers, it remains unique as the home of the NFL’s only community-owned franchise.
