Mercedes-Benz Stadium publishes a children’s policy that is specific to Falcons and Atlanta United events, plus a stroller rule and a narrow food exception. Those are the rules to plan around. Other events at the same building can require a ticket for every child. This page was checked against the stadium A–Z guide and accessibility page on September 24, 2026.
Tickets
For Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United events, children shorter than 33 inches can enter free if they sit in a guardian’s lap. They do not get their own seat. For other events, the stadium says the policy may differ and tickets may be required for everyone. Check the event page before you leave a toddler off the order.
The Tag-A-Kid wristband is filled out at a Guest Service Center with the child’s name, the parent or guardian’s information, and the seat location. Guest Service Centers are at sections 116, 201 and 244, section 301, and Gates 1 and 2. The accessibility page also lists centers near sections 217 and 333.
Strollers, bags and infant food
Strollers may come inside the building and may not go to the seats. They are checked at Guest Services at section 116. The A–Z guide does not publish a stroller fee.
Diaper bags have to be clear and inside the stadium bag size. They can come in with a child and will be searched. Parents may bring plastic bottles of non-frozen formula or milk, and small snacks, in that clear bag. That exception does not extend to a general outside meal. Everyone else is limited to one factory-sealed, non-frozen 16.9 oz water. The comparison with other venues is in outside food and water.

Food once you are in
The inexpensive public menu is ATL Fan Fare: a classic hot dog is $2, cheese nachos are $3, and a small domestic draft is $5. Stands and the rest of the board are in the food guide by section. A quinoa bowl is $10 if you want one substantial dish rather than several snacks. None of those pages says tax is included.
Falcons and Atlanta United dates are on the stadium guide.
Getting there with a child
MARTA is the route that does not depend on a car seat in a rideshare queue. SEC District station is the stadium’s preferred stop. Vine City connects to Gate 1 by the pedestrian bridge, which is the step to know if you are using a stroller as far as section 116. The full arrival and the trip home are in Mercedes-Benz Stadium without a car.
Accessible drop-off is along Northside Drive, between the pedestrian bridge and The Home Depot Backyard, closest to Gate 1. Guest Services there can help with wheelchair service. Elevators are at the corners of the building, with priority for a guest with a disability and one companion. A stroller is not described as an elevator priority.
Plan to check the stroller at 116 before you climb to the seat, and keep the lap-child ticket rule attached to Falcons and Atlanta United dates only.
