GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium is one of the most recognizable venues in the NFL, located in Kansas City, Missouri and home to the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL). The stadium is famous for record-setting crowd noise, sea-of-red gameday atmosphere, and is one of the 11 U.S. host venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Overview
Arrowhead Stadium opened in 1972 as part of the Truman Sports Complex, alongside Kauffman Stadium (home of the Kansas City Royals). Located at 1 Arrowhead Drive on the east side of Kansas City, the venue is one of the oldest active stadiums in the NFL but has been continually upgraded — most notably with a $375 million renovation completed in 2010 that modernized concourses, suites, and clubs. GEHA acquired naming rights in 2021. The stadium holds the Guinness World Record for the loudest outdoor sports stadium, set by Chiefs fans in 2014.
