Lincoln Financial Field is a multi-purpose venue in South Philadelphia and home to the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) and the Temple Owls (NCAA). The stadium hosts NFL games, college football, concerts, and major international events year-round, and is one of the 11 U.S. host venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Overview
Lincoln Financial Field opened in 2003 as the replacement for Veterans Stadium, the Eagles’ longtime home. Located at 1 Lincoln Financial Way within the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, the stadium sits alongside Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia Phillies) and the Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers). Designed by NBBJ, the venue replaced the much-criticized Veterans Stadium with a fan-focused, open-air design tailored for football and soccer.
